WHAT’S A NATURAL HUMECTANT?

 

Natural humectants bind with water molecules, attracting moisture to the surface of the skin and hold it there. They’re great multitaskers to add to your skincare regimen. But not all humectants are created equal—synthetic humectants can dry out skin over time, while natural humectants work with the skin’s hydrating ability to promote long-term moisture production.

WHAT DO YOUR PRODUCTS SMELL LIKE?

They smell lovely, naturally! If you're looking for artificially good smelling products, you won't find them here; while it's nice to have an intoxicating scent to products, many of your favorite smelling hair, face, and body products are derived from chemical fragrances, something Serein Naturals does not use. Our products are naturally scented with essential oils and butters.

 

According to the Environmental Working Group, women use an average of 12 products a day, containing 168 different chemicals. Men use fewer products, but still put 85 chemicals on their bodies. So ask yourself, would you whether have a product that WORKS or a product that smells good? Because those added chemicals can often dilute a products' effectiveness and cause more harm than good.
